The Manga Dojo: Basic class is a twenty-eight week hands-on, practical course designed for beginning artists. Classes are three hours long with a fifteen-minute break in the middle of the period.
Students will be guided through the process of story creation and obtain a firm grasp of the fundamental elements involved in the art of Japanese manga. Students will also learn the fundamentals of visual art.
Students will be expected to complete two short story assignments, and will be prepared for the Advanced course.
